But during my time playing the game, Mr. Satan—who is a complete delight in this adaptation—was by far the best fighter. Those who have seen the anime are aware that Mr. Satan is a martial artist who struggles to use his fighting skills and makes his living by taking credit for the victories of others. Still, he has a pure heart and even assisted Goku and his allies in taking down Majin Buu.

He truly befriends Buu later on in the Dragon Ball events, and they move in together. It's this specific fact that helps him in Sparking! None. He is not very effective in combat. His special strikes are deceptive, and his punches and kicks are ineffective. However, one of Mr. Satan's special moves allows you to actually defeat other players by bringing in Buu to defend you.

Ultimate Saiyan Storm

There is a good deal of gameplay familiarity for fans of the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm series. Trading blows with opponents and storing energy during lulls will allow you to unleash hyper-powered hits and blasts that will send your opponents flying across the screen.

One noteworthy method is Dragon Ball: Sparking! But Zero sets itself apart from the Ultimate Ninja Storm series in that its battles are vertical. Because every character in the game has the ability to fly, you can toss opponents into rivers, down ravines, and across expansive battlefields while you trade blows with them.

Each attack is really serious. Additionally, throws can buy you time to recharge your skills, extending your Sparking! Punching, kicking, throwing, charging, and then unleashing your strongest attacks to completely destroy your opponents make up the majority of Zero. Your conflicts will seem more dynamic in certain moments when you witness people in your area disperse and boulders fall after explosions.

This small detail, together with the sophisticated cel-shaded graphics in the game, elevates Sparkling! Zero has the same immersive quality as an episode of Dragon Ball Z, which is precisely what makes an excellent anime game adaptation.

Even though I haven't had a chance to play the story mode of the game yet, which raises the stakes in every fight as you progress through Dragon Ball history, Sparking! Zero seems to have a lot going for it.
